My wife the patient was treated with dignity and respect. Her needs were catered for in a professional and efficient way. The attitude of the staff was explicit their desire to assist in every way was excellent. The need for this facility to expand is probably the biggest asset the community benefit.

The specialist palliative care team contacted early while I was still in hospital following emergency admission. The contact has remained since my discharge ten days ago, with two further visits today. Easter has just passed with two bank holidays. Just the time when arrangement could go wrong. But everything went like clockwork - meals, carers, out of hours district nurse. I feel I have had "gold service" from my G.P Dr Harrap, from the P.O.W medical and nursing staff at P.O.W Bestgad, and from all the agencies which have integrated so well.
